About NPS Group

This Group is the first Spinronics Groups in Iran,started his work from 2014 at Shahid beheshti University in Tehran. the leader of the group is Dr.Seyyed Majid Mohseni.

Surface physics can be roughly defined as the study of physical changes that occur at interfaces.

In spintronics the effect of surface is really undeniable. And surface roughness cause some important changes in magnetic properties of samples.

This course is about the electronic properties of materials and contains lectures about scattering, transport in metals, phonons and superconductivity and "Magnetism".

Study Goals: The goal of the course is twofold: to present modern concepts of the electronic properties of the materials, and to develop the ability to read (and understand) scientific papers.

This course is related to the some phenomenon that correlated with Advanced Solid state physics course.

This course contains 8 Experiment consider calculating band gap, Hall effect, GMR experiment, spin coating, ESR, NMR and so on

we are preparing some devices for measuring the Parameters related to the spintronics and some setups are built till now.
